A Future Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries RP ║ Mature Multi-paragraph
This roleplay is a set a few years into the Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries universe with some slightly AU themes. The basics that you need to know about each character will be listed below. Other than sticking to their basic personalities and following these story lines, the characters are your own to do with as you please. Please understand that this is a mature rp, and there will most likely be smut as well as other mature themes. This is a multi-paragaph roleplay, therefore I expect a certain amount of literacy. Please respect the other roleplayers and do not start drama in OOC. If there is a canon character not listed that you would like to roleplay, please say so and I’ll be happy to add them to the list. Blair never married her prince from France. It wasn’t because she didn’t have feelings for him or because she wanted to go back to Chuck, but because she wanted to make a name for herself as an independent and powerful woman first. Since then she’s been working on getting her law degree in hope of eventually going into politics. She’s been through the casual dating circle as well as the social circle. Blair continues to enjoy small schemes and games of intrigue along with her macaroons and Audrey Hepburn movies. She currently lives in the Waldorf mansion with her mother and step father have moved to a permanent beach house in the Hamptons. (Note that the baby drama of season does not exist in this version. There will be no baby for Blair unless it happens later on.)

Chuck Bass may be a hot mess, but he’s managed to get Bass Industries back on track. Not only does he own one of the highest earning hotels in New York, but he’s also managed to branch out both across the nation and internationally. Somewhere along the line, Chuck learned to balance being a borderline alcoholic and a devilish playboy with being a reliable business man. He’s made the top 10 out of the top 100 list for both ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ and ‘Leading Businessmen’ for the past two years in a row. Though Nate no longer lives with him at the Empire, they still keep in close contact. He’s currently working on opening a club that he hopes will have the same level of status as the Victrola.

After giving up the life of a college student and her blogging site, Serena van der Woodsen has done a little bit of everything. She traveled around the world with an artist for a year, acting as his muse and inspiration. For a few months she hid away from the rest of the world with a Turkish prince and followed in the footsteps of her mother by following a rock band around the US. She even spent a summer in Africa with a group of charity workers. Something always brought her back home though, and now she’s working as a super model. Along the way she’s managed to keep up with almost everyone, and she lives with Blair in the Waldorf mansion.

Though Nate is good at giving other people advice, he’s still trying to learn to take his own. He currently lives in a well furnished and lavish apartment close to his university.

She’s worked diligently by the icon’s side in London ever since, and now she’s ready to start out on her own. With Westwood’s blessing and the considerable amount of money she’s made on her own, Jennifer Humphrey is returning to New York determined to prove that she can stand on her own too feet and make it on her own. The only people she’s kept up with are Rufus, Lily, Dan and Eric.

Though he doesn’t intend to tell anyone, it’s a novel about one Blair Waldorf and how he sees her through his own eyes. He continues to live in Brooklyn, determined to stay true to his roots. More often then not he’ll lock himself away just to write without contacting anyone for days. He continues to watch foreign films and stays a sappy romantic. However, he still finds a way to make the rounds on the Upper East Side, circulating with his family and the other socialites. Right now he’s taking a break from writing novels to work on an original screenplay, that he hopes to have finished before the year is out.

Vanessa hasn’t stepped foot in New York in years. She’s traveled around the world, visiting one third world country after another. Vanessa lost a part of herself while trying to keep up with everyone on the UES. She became the monster that she claimed all of them were and she’s spent the past few years trying to find herself again. She’s been working on a documentary about her travels and has to return to the U.S. to start working on it seriously. Whether or not she returns to New York and the Upper East Side is something she isn’t sure of yet.

Eric continues to remain the voice of reason in the group, despite his own instabilities and issues. He currently works as a advocate for the LGBT community and as a counselor. He wants to help people going through what he went through and to make sure that they have the compassion and understanding that he never did. With the money from his trust fund, Eric realizes that he’s set for life and he’d rather spend his time helping others than advancing upon his own wealth. He lives on his own in one of the many town houses of Manhattan. Jenny Humphrey remains his best friend.

Damon left Mystic Falls soon after Stefan turned his humanity back on and Klaus was staked. Though he stayed long enough to make sure that his brother could be rehabilitated, Damon could not stand watching Elena choose Stefan over him once more. So, without a word to anyone except Alaric, Damon departed. Since then, he’s been traveling the world and has just recently found his way back to the U.S in the form of New York. His reason for returning to the States is known only to him, but he’s been living the high life. Damon spends his nights drinking and seducing women out of the many clubs of New York. He spends his days playing the part of a rich businessman and blue blood to perfection.

Elena left Mystic Falls after high school, determined to have some sort of normalcy in her life after staking Klaus and defeating the other originals. She’s currently going to college at NYU and lives in a shared apartment with Caroline and Bonnie. She’s working on a major in Journalism, hoping to put her writing skills to use. Elena is still with Stefan who also lives in New York these days, but things between them have been strained since he went ‘bad’. He won’t let her in, and she’s not sure if she wants to try anymore. She and Caroline share a pact to turn to Elena into a vampire after she graduates. There is a year left to her human life.

Stefan lives a life of temptation. He’s had to learn to control his urges and spends every day like a recovering alcoholic. Stefan followed Elena to New York, in hopes that the change of scenery would help ease the strain on their relationship. However, he can’t forgive himself enough to truly let Elena in and he doesn’t believe that he deserves redemption. He currently goes to NYU as well, simply enjoying life as a college student rather then focusing on a major. It’s not like he needs it after all. He lives in a well furnished apartment on his own though Elena makes frequent visits to say overnight.

After the falling out with her mother, Caroline felt that she had no place in the world where she was welcome. Elena and Bonnie eventually helped her out of her depression in order to help her move on with her life. Together the three of them moved to New York where Caroline now works as a model. She’s been working small jobs for the most part, but after a stroke of luck, she’s slowly making her way to the top. Caroline has been walking a few runways and featuring as the main model in a few ad campaigns. She realizes that because she’s a vampire she can’t keep the career forever, but she’s living it up while she can.

You should know that you just can’t keep a good villain down. When he was staked, Klaus was certainly down but he wasn’t out for the count. After Mystic Falls was abandoned by it’s tight knit group of wannabe superheroes, there was no one left to keep a watchful eye on the tomb where Klaus and the rest of his family had been locked away in coffins with stakes in their hearts. After curiosity killed one of the local townspeople, this original is very much alive and ready for a little revenge. Using the many sources at his disposal, Klaus has traced his ‘friends’ to New York where he intends to hunt them down one by one.

Katherine has undoubtedly lived a life of luxury since Klaus was staked. With no one on her heels she has all the time in the world. Literally. After traveling the world and tasting it’s various people, Katherine is feeling a little bored. After a bit of research, it was only too easy to find out where they were and a one way ticket later she found herself in New York. After compelling a dying old man to put her in his will, Katherine is now the new owner of a Manhattan mansion and more money than she could ever truly need.
